Srsly.. I don't care if it was made to sell toys or fanservice stuff...
I don't want to assume anything until I've saw the episode and as long as I didn't saw it all I will see is that she is really cute as Alicorn.
(but I have to say, even as non mlp fan, when I watched the first episodes the first time, I totally thought she will become a princess.. I mean.. She has a Tiara... the others not... )

I agree. I love the shading and colors on the eyes! They really complement each other! And I love how you brought out the change of her unicorn-alicorn transformation. It's beautiful! Subtle changes, but noticeable. Like the wings, the hair, and the tiara. And when I read the name, I better understood the picture! I love the contrast between the background colors and Twilight. Plus, the sparkles add a nice magical appearance! So, to sum it all up, the picture is absolutely amazing, artistically exceptional, and highly appealing to the eye!
